Children

If your relationship has broken down we will work with you to achieve the best arrangements for your children if you are not living with them. We will ensure that they can maintain their relationship with you as their parent.

As far as possible we will support you in reaching agreements with the other parent. Where this is impractical we will apply to the court for an order resolving the problem.

• If you fear your children will be snatched we can obtain an order confirming their residence with you and prevent removal.
• If you cannot see your children we can apply for a contact order.
• If you are not recognised officially as a parent we can obtain a parental responsibility order giving you a say in your child’s education, health and welfare.
• If your children have been taken to another country we can obtain their return. We belong to Reunite International and frequently act for parents whose children have been abroad illegally.
